Coaching for individuals who are ready to move from self-criticism to self-understanding, and rise with clarity, certainty and confidence.

“Coaching changed my whole perception of myself”

Diagnosed with ADHD at 42, I finally began to understand why life had always felt harder than it should.

Coaching helped me see myself with compassion instead of criticism and now I help others do the same, to make sense of their diagnosis and rewrite their story with clarity and confidence.

MEET LUCY

I’m Lucy, an ADHD-informed coach, a queer woman, a mum of two boys (8 and 11), and a senior manager in a large corporate organisation.

For most of my life, I worked hard to hold it all together. From the outside, it looked like I was managing and thriving, career, family, life, but underneath, it always felt like running just to stay in place.

Two years ago, at 42, things that had always been difficult suddenly became debilitating. Between motherhood, perimenopause, and the constant pressure to perform, my old coping strategies stopped working.

My ADHD diagnosis was both a relief and a reckoning. It finally made sense of the lifelong struggle, but it didn’t erase the exhaustion or the years of self-blame.

Coaching became the turning point. It helped me understand my brain, release the guilt, and start seeing myself through a lens of compassion rather than criticism.

Now, I help other late-diagnosed adults do the same, to unlearn old stories, rebuild self-trust, and reignite confidence in who they really are.

“I coach because I know what it’s like to live life running on empty, and what it feels like to finally breathe again.”

Client Testimonials

“The most valuable insight was learning how to look at my challenges from a different angle, which gave me more perspective and less criticism. The coaching helped me pinpoint what I really wanted to improve, which allowed me to focus more and move forward with clearer direction.”

Who I work with

I work with late-diagnosed adults who’ve spent years trying to hold it all together, often succeeding on the outside, yet feeling exhausted, scattered, or stuck on the inside.

Many of my clients are professionals, parents, or leaders who have learned to mask, overcompensate, and work twice as hard to meet expectations, until one day, it stops working.

You might be newly diagnosed, navigating perimenopause, or simply trying to understand why life feels heavier than it should.

You don’t need fixing. You need space, self-understanding, and a plan that fits your brain.

My coaching is ADHD-informed, compassionate, and grounded in both lived experience and professional expertise. Together, we build insight, self-trust, and practical tools so you can thrive on your own terms.

The Story behind the Phoenix 🔥

Life After the Label was born from a simple truth: awareness alone doesn’t create change.

My ADHD diagnosis gave me answers, but it was coaching that helped me rise from them. It taught me how to rebuild self-trust, to understand my energy, and to finally stop measuring myself against everyone else’s rulebook.

The phoenix in my logo symbolises that process of renewal, burning away old stories of failure and rising with greater clarity, strength, and purpose.

Coaching didn’t fix me. It helped me finally stop trying to fix myself.

And that’s what I want for every client I work with: to rediscover who they are beneath the label, reclaim their confidence, and reignite their spark.
